"Bowlies" SOLD

"Late Night in the Old City" (18x24)

I decided that I felt prodded to do a large version of "Night in the Old City" because I liked
the small version so much.  This is different in many ways, but feels like a good variation on a theme.

"Cafe Maspero" (14X19)

We ducked into Cafe Maspero to rest our feet and get a little refreshment on a drizzly afternoon in New Orleans.  Besides enjoying my companions, I loved the way the place looked with its open door and other people pausing in the middle of the afternoon.

"Addie" (16x20)

This is a portrait of a very special friend and companion of the man who commissioned the painting.
I tried to capture her pent up energy and readiness for anything as well as the light she brings to his world.

Two of my paintings sold last night at the Wimberley Gallery Crawl

"Night in the Old City" (5x7)
This little painting is one of my favorites.  I may paint a larger version of it.

"Afternoon Wine" (8x10)
Another favorite.  I love to paint people engaged in daily activities, especially when they involve shared pleasures.
