Bluebonnets Dancing in the Sun (8x10)

I did this with my easel facing the windows at Bent Tree Gallery and poor overhead light on the panel.

A couple of weeks later, I turned my easel around so that the natural light from the windows

lit the panel and helped me brighten the bluebonnets.

I'm not sure which version I prefer.

"Spring Flowers" 8x10

This painting was done under bad lighting and the result was so drab

that I decided to brighten it up under better light.

"Winter Picnic" 16x20

This is a repeat of a painting I did years ago when I was using acrylics.

My painting "Trying It On" won first place at the new juried Wimberley Valley Art League show.

The sculpture in this painting seems to cause some confusion, so

I've simplified the composition by removing it.
